  • Self-report system

    Once a year, employees self-report their adaptability to their current workplace and tasks they would like to challenge, and have an interview with their superiors.

  • Free agent

    This system allows motivated employees to challenge themselves to advance their careers. If you raise your hand to a SoftBank group company and have a high match with the transfer destination, the transfer will be realized.

Ability development

  • Softbank university

    Established in September 2010 for the purpose of developing human resources who will contribute to the realization of our management philosophy.
    We respect diversity, which is the source of the SoftBank Group's sustainable growth.
    We aim to develop talented individuals.

  • Development goals

    By taking an inventory of one's own abilities once every six months, and creating and implementing ability development goals, we support employee ability development linked to training.

  • Qualification acquisition support system

    By providing examination fees and incentives, the company supports employees in acquiring qualifications for the purpose of self-development and skill improvement (limited to qualifications certified by the company).

  • Side business

    We allow side jobs that do not affect the main business and lead to the improvement of employees' skills and growth, subject to the company's permission.

Evaluation

  • Mission grade system

    Areas and grades are determined according to missions and work styles, rather than individual factors such as age and gender. A mission definition document is prepared for each job type, and by clarifying the mission that the company expects from employees and the power that they want to demonstrate, they indicate the direction of the challenge.

  • Contribution evaluation, core ability/value evaluation

    Contribution evaluation that evaluates work results and contribution to the organization. Core competencies and value evaluation of the competencies required to accomplish the mission and attitudes and behaviors of SoftBank employees. We have incorporated evaluation indicators from both sides.

    It is a compensation system that links the mission grade system and the evaluation system. Bonuses are linked to each person's contribution evaluation and have a variable range to reward their contribution to the organization.
